Art and music go hand in hand as
East Tennessee artist, Deborah
Cain, very often combines the two careers. An
eclectic gallery
filled with oils, watercolors, rice paper, acrylic, and collage.
Pages of old music, organ stops, piano keys, rice paper, a cello
bridge are just a few items that find their way into Deborah’s Art!
This is a working studio where she does custom framing, painting,
and printing giclees on canvas, prints on paper, note cards and
bookmarks. Deborah keeps busy with commissions of animal, people,
and old home place portraits as well as
landscapes and murals.
The artist’s favorite medium is watercolor on rice paper. The rice
paper is glued to watercolor paper for a support. She likes to
encourage extra wrinkles, looking at the wrinkles for a suggestion
of the subject. These are unique, an old world look with dimension.
Customers enjoy music each Thursday afternoon as a corner of the
space is claimed for a jam session of string instruments, violins
and cello. Shop online or come in to our gallery:
680 Glades Road, #5, Gatlinburg,

Relax as you meander through the
many styles and mediums of
